Not as bad as people are saying.......

I liked it. It was hard, but the lack of sound and a "YOU WIN!" screen are NOT GOOD for a game to have, but the score looks promising.......

Original and simple

2 good ways to get something through the Portal. Good job.

ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

I compared this to Marble Madness and its so good of a replica I could have shot myself. THANK GOD FOR THIS GAME! Its beautiful, simple and irresistibly well done. PLEASE SUBMIT A LONGER VERSION ASAP OR EMAIL IT TO ME AND I WILL BE YOUR HUMBLE SLAVE FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!

Very addicting, very good

Its like Tetris but the graphics are amazing and it plays wonderfully. Good job.

I don't know why........

This SHOULD have a WAYYYY better score than it does.........the controls might be tighter than they should be, and the graphics aren't that great, but it is overall a good game, and shouldn't EVER be forgotten from the portal.

Overall, DEFINITELY something worthy of Front Page Status....or AT LEAST Underdog. Keep it up.

Novelties responds:

Thankyou very much. I am really disappointed with the score. I was expecting a bit more. I wish more people could see it more the way u do. Thanks again for a great review

Sweet!

I didn't get to play long because my dad loves old school games and took over for me. I think he got 14000 points and then exited.....lol. But at least when I was playing, I liked what I saw. Good job.

Blaze responds:

sweeet. Did your dad fifen ? ;) Thanks for the review DFI!

WOO-HOO 2D DAMACY!!!

I love the games!! I always wanted to do a 2D platformer, but I can only do space shooters lol!

Great little game!

It was good, but the graphics could've been better and you COULD HAVE AT LEAST used a shooting sound effect!!

liam responds:

Yes, but I didn't have time to go searching for any. 5 hours is what I did it in, hmmk.

OMG!

I designed this game and I can only give it a 9 lol. Nice job fixing the glitches too TehFlash. Very good job......

Hmm......

I thought the MG rules clearly stated that all unfinished work should NOT be posted?

Aside from the fact its NOT DONE, the graphics are so-so, no sound, little violence, no humor, and the games themselves are actually decent. You don't get alot of these anymore........

Now, for a breakdown of the games:

Shooter: Very simple, like my sickness game, and actually, almost a complete code copy of my Real Time Strategy game......if I changed the graphics to match your game, they'd be exactly the same thing lol.

Platformer: Nice little puzzler, but the graphics weren't great and the blocks moved too far. If I knocked one of the blocks off of a ledge, for example, even after hitting the ground it would keep sliding. Also, the controls were HORRIBLE. You literally had to repeatedly tap the arrow keys to make your character move.

Mouse game: Just really, really stupid, actually.

Puzzle Solving game: Same bad controls, and the walls were really annoying. I disliked this one quite a bit because of this.....and have something more than just buttons!! A puzzler isn't a puzzler if all you do is run around pressing buttons!!! ADD MORE DEPTH.

Overall, the Platformer is my favorite. Good job on that.

BUT!!! I think that all of the others could have used some more work. And EVERY GAME NEEDS SOUND!!!!!! SOUND IS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR IN GAME DESIGN, NOW ADD SOME!!!!

That scared me for a second, but I actually went and checked and it was more of a 'strong discouragement' ;)

Shooter: Holy crap you found me, I just decompiled your... nah, just kidding. ^^ Yeah, simplicity was supposed to be one of the strong points, as well as addictiveness ;)

Platformer: Argh, I have no idea how to improve the controls. I think I'll look into that, that could be HUGELY helpful. As for the slidy thing... That was intentional :P

Mouse game: Oh no! Your the first person to say you didn't like it! Maybe your just too sophisticated for it :D

Puzzle Solving game: more depth... whoa. Why the heck didn't I think of that. *bangs head against wall* Maybe I'll work on a puzzle solving game 2 with twice the depth as a spare time project ^^

Sound. Your right. Next time I finish a flash game, I vow to add SOUND! :)

Thanks a ton for the detailed review!
